We here at Walnut Knob want to make your visit to Pike Count the best it can be. We provide the comforts of home in a great rural atmosphere. While we can't control the weather outside, we want to make your stay comfortable while you are indoors. Our accommodations are all climate controlled (so you can be comfortable in the ever changing Illinois weather), have laundry facilities , and a full kitchen. Each of our lodges has a great room with satellite TV and space for you and your friends to relax after your day in the woods or spend your time on the patio area grilling where there is seating to enjoy an evening under the stars. Our picnic tables located in convenient, comfortable sites. we invite your to use our kitchens but if you feel like "eating out", there are many good restaurants just a short drive away. So you won't lose touch with the rest of the world (unless you want to), phones and wireless internet access are available. If you prefer a more secluded place, we have other options including those surrounded by woods where you can walk to your tree stand or some overlooking a fish-filled farm pond. We invite you to return here and bring your family during other seasons to enjoy Pike County. Bring your camera if you enjoy wildlife photography as we have many photo opportunities in our scenic, country setting. |
